marketplace:search

Search features in the marketplace index, or live on the forge.

Usage

splent marketplace:search [QUERY] [--category C] [--archetype A] [--tag T] [--provides X] [--requires F] [--refresh] [--org ORG] [--all]

feature:search is the same command under its older name, see feature:search. It keeps working in every product that does not install a feature actually called search; where one is installed, feature:search is that feature’s own command namespace and this command answers only to marketplace:search.

Argument / Option Description
QUERY Substring match over name, repo, description, tags and provided services/models.
--category Filter by contract category.
--archetype Filter by archetype (full, light, service, config).
--tag Filter by contract tag.
--provides Filter by a provided route/service/model/hook/signal (exact name).
--requires Filter by required feature short name (e.g. auth).
--refresh Re-fetch the index from SPLENT_INDEX_URL.
--org Live mode. List this forge organisation instead of reading the index.
--all Live mode. Show all repos, not just the ones with feature in the name.

All filters are combined (AND).

Examples

splent marketplace:search
splent marketplace:search auth
splent marketplace:search --archetype service
splent marketplace:search --provides MediaService
splent marketplace:search --requires auth
splent marketplace:search --org my-org # live listing of a forge org

Description

With an index (built with marketplace:index into .splent_cache/marketplace/index.json, or downloaded from SPLENT_INDEX_URL), the search is instant, works offline and understands the feature contracts.

  Marketplace search — requires=auth
  ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
  ● admin 1.1.0 full Auto-generated CRUD admin panel for all product models
notes 0.0.1 full Notes with title and body owned by the user

  2 feature(s) · index from cache · details: splent feature:info <name>

● marks features already installed in the active product. index from reads cache or url.

Live mode, with --org or --all, or when no index exists anywhere, lists the organisation’s repositories on the configured forge (git.splent.io unless SPLENT_FORGE_HOST says otherwise; splent-io when no --org is given) with each one’s latest semver tag and description. Without an index it then suggests building one. Set SPLENT_FORGE_TOKEN (or the legacy GITHUB_TOKEN) to raise the forge API rate limit and see private repos.
